Located on the Plateau-Mont-Royal at the crossroads of Saint Dominique and Napoléon, a custom-made home for the characters from the film The Square has been designed. In this film, Christian is characterized as a narcissistic man. Everything revolves around him and he wants to be the center of attention. He is constantly manipulating others, using them to empower himself.
In this duplex, a private central unit in the shape of a square on four floors is where Christian lives. The stairs revolve around this volume, so the other two users will have to constantly see Christian while they walk around the residence. The other individuals are Anne and a little boy.
The means to show their interrelation is to place them in an order of social class and inferiority. The little boy comes in through his private entrance in the basement near the alley. He remains in a lower and more discreet place in the house. In addition, for Anne, she lives on the ground floor, so she is more commonly in touch with Christian depending on his desires.
