Coworking environments are common and shared workspaces that encourage discussion, innovation, networking, collaboration, learning as well as openness. In addition to breaking the isolation of the self-employed, this new type of environment enables knowledge sharing for collective progress. Coworking spaces generally have a desire to want to energize typical workplaces. The activities in a coworking space are also quite varied. This aspect therefore makes it possible to do a multitude of activities in a working day, whether it's in a professional or personal context.
The goal of MVMNT (movement) was therefore to design a coworking space in one of the premises at Place Ville-Marie. This project, bearing the name Bürhotel, stems from a desire to reinvent traditional office spaces, in particular by offering a more informal context.
