High School Library - October 2019

This project integrates a fictional scenario in which the Dalbé-Viau School and the Commission scolaire Marguerite Bourgeoys were planning to undertake library redevelopment to explore and expose the potential of their local, through a updating of the library program.

For this project, we based our concept on the RIPPLE EFFECT. The ripple effect is a situation in which, like the ripples that expand in water when an object is dropped there, an effect from an initial state followed gradually outward. The reception represents that drop that falls and causes this ripple effect. So, by placing it in the center, it allows a global view of the space, the rest of the layout is then organized around it in a fluid fashion.
